Stan Leventhal

Stan Leventhal graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1971. Immediately after graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy and was sent to Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island. After graduation he was Commissioned as an Ensign. He reported for duty aboard the USS New Orleans off the coast of Vietnam. After two WestPac tours he left the Navy with the rank of Lieutenant (j.g.).

Returning to California, he took a job investigating serious injury claims. He learned how to interview witnesses, preserve evidence, analyze skid marks and do time distance and braking calculations. He developed a strong interest in preparing his reports so that others could use the information to defend and prosecute cases. It became a natural progression to enroll in law school.

In 1981 successfully graduated from Western State Law School after three years while working full time. He took and passed the Bar Exam on his first attempt. His first job was at a law firm defending people who had been sued. Within thirty days he had tried and won his first Jury Trial. Two years later he went to work at a major law firm defending people who had been accused of causing serious injury. In 1985 he was named Managing Attorney of the firm handling cases in all of Counties of Southern California.

Seeking a way to help those who been injured by others he decided to leave his comfortable life working for insurance companies and use the skills he had learned from them to represent those truly in need. Since 1992 he has represented plaintiffs exclusively throughout the State of California. From Shasta County to San Diego County and in nearly every County in between he has represented injured motorcyclists against Insurance Companies and their attorneys. He prides himself in handling each case personally and giving every client the type of attention and aggressive representation they deserve. Whether the case can be settled or needs to be tried he puts the interests of his clients first. He has secured major verdicts and settlements in cases where police reports and insurance companies felt his clients' claims were without merit.
